Daws returned to the Avenue Stadium following a brief stint at AFC Totton. The Northern Irish U21 winger began his career progressing through the academy at AFC Bournemouth. A stand-out loan spell under Tom Killick at Poole Town put the winger on the radar of a number of professional clubs and Daws was quickly snapped up by then-Premier League side Luton Town upon his release from Dean Court. Daws spent a year at Kenilworth Road before returning to Dorset in January 2024 to re-unite with Killick, now managing Dorchester Town. A series of impressive displays attracted the attention of AFC Totton, for whom he signed for ahead of the 2024/25 season. But with playing time limited at the Snows Stadium, Daws chose to leave the Hampshire club and return to The Avenue Stadium in October 2024, much to the delight of the Magpies' fans.
