Dorchester Town Football Club are delighted to announce the double loan signing of Ed James and Pedro Borges from Exeter City.
The highly-rated duo, who both signed their first professional contracts with the League One side earlier in the year, arrive at The Avenue on initial three-month loan deals.
Central defender James, who started the season on loan at National League South side Weston-super-Mare before being recalled and featuring for the Grecians in their EFL Trophy tie against Arsenal U21s last week, has progressed through the youth setup at Exeter going on to make his first team league debut last season, and also previously has had loan experience with Tiverton Town and Weymouth.
Attacking midfielder Borges, who had previously been part of the youth system at Yeovil Town before switching to Exeter in 2022, spent spells on loan during the previous campaign with both Plymouth Parkway and Tiverton Town, before making his first team league debut back in April against Bolton Wanderers then gaining his first start in League One away at Ipswich later that month.
The pair could make their Magpies debuts on Saturday as Tom Killick's side travel to Hendon.
Welcome Ed and Pedro!
