Dorchester Town Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Brendan Holmes.
The defensive midfielder has impressed on trial with the Magpies during pre-season, having featured in a number of our friendlies over the past few weeks, and joins the club having played for Bemerton Heath Harlequins last season and was previously captain at Andover Town where he made over over 200 appearances during a 5 year spell.
On signing for the club, Brendan said: "I'm really happy to sign for the season, I feel pre-season has been a massive success and have loved it all, I feel 100% ready for the season ahead.
"All of the boys and management have been massively welcoming and have loved my time at the club so far.
"The whole squad is extremely talented and competition for the 11 is high, but this is only going to benefit us in the long run. I can’t wait to get playing and help the team as much as I can in any way."
