A very warm welcome to the players and supporters of Hanwell Town Football Club, who this Saturday will visit the Avenue Stadium for our latest clash in the Southern League Premier Division South (KO 3.00pm).
Ahead of the game, Dorchester Town First Team Manager Glenn Howes has said it is “really important” the Magpies put an end to a rut, which has seen his side lose three consecutive matches.

Brief history of The Geordies
The club was formed in 1920 by a group of Newcastle-upon-Tyne natives, who were working in the Hanwell area.
Hanwell played in the London League during the 1920s, but dropped down several divisions after World War Two, where they remained for over twenty years.
Since 1970, the Geordies have played across the London Spartan, Isthmian and Southern League respectively.
During the 2021/22 season, Hanwell achieved promotion to Step 3 of non-league for the first time, beating Chertsey Town in the Isthmian South Central play-off final.
The Gaffer - Chris Moore
Chris Moore was initially announced as joint manager of Hanwell at the start of the 2018/19 season.
After two seasons at the helm, he helped the Geordies seal their historic promotion last year. Moore was announced as Hanwell’s sole manager for the 2022/23 season.
Ones to Watch
Forward Kain Adom has popped up with a number of goals this season for Hanwell, since joining the club last summer.
The Geordies can also count on former Brentford and Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Sam Saunders amongst their squad.
Form Guide
The Magpies - WWLLL

The Geordies - WLWLW
Hanwell have won three of their past five matches, with their most recent outing a 3-1 drubbing of Yate Town.
Last Time We Met...
Last September the Magpies were left to rue a number of missed chances, suffering a 2-1 away loss at the Powerday Stadium.
