A very warm welcome to the players and supporters of Chesham United Football Club, who this weekend will visit the Avenue Stadium for our latest clash in the Southern League Premier Division South (KO 3.00pm).
Ahead of the game Dorchester Town First Team Coach Brian Churchill has spoken about the prospect of a play-off challenge for the Magpies this season, if they can emerge from a difficult December schedule with a healthy points total.
That challenge begins this weekend with the visit of Chesham who have only lost twice in the league all season.

Brief history of The Generals
Originally, the club was established in 1917 through a merger of Chesham Town and Chesham Generals.
In the 1966/67 season the club reached the first round of the FA Cup for the first time, losing 6-0 at Enfield.
For nearly the last 20 years Chesham have played in the Southern League, in which they have been part of the Premier Division since the 2010/11 season.
The Gaffers - James Duncan & Michael Murray
Duncan and Murray took over joint managerial responsibilities at Chesham in October 2018.
The former had previously managed at Potters Bar Town where he guided them to automatic promotion from the Isthmian Division One North in 2017/18. Murray played under and formed part of Duncan’s coaching team at Potters Bar before both made the move to the Meadow.
One to Watch
Chesham boast a fierce forward line this season, with striker Karl Oliyide among the top scorers in the Southern League Premier Division South.
