By: Tom Berry | @TJBerry95

Dorchester Town Football Club will welcome the players, supporters and officials of Hendon Football Club to The Clayson Stadium for this BetVictor Southern Premier South fixture (KO 3:00pm).

Who are The Greens?
Formed in 1908, the Dons have played in a number of different leagues and competitions, starting off in the London League, of which they were amateur champions of the Premier Division in 1914. They have been members of the Isthmian League since 1963 and have been crowned champions on two separate occasions in 1965 and again in 1973.

Hendon were also crowned FA Amateur Cup winners three times, lifting the famous trophy in 1960, 1965 and finally in 1972. As a result of their final triumph, they went on to compete in the European Amateur Championships and won the competition as well in 1973.

In 2018 Hendon lost out on promotion to the National League South, as they were defeated by Dulwich Hamlet in the Play Off final, staying at step three. As a result of the 2018 restructuring, Hendon were moved from the Isthmian League, into the Southern League.

One to watch
Striker Joe White resigned for the Greens in January 2020 from Stevenage. He was originally on loan at Hendon a couple of seasons ago and memorably scored 5 goals in one game during this spell. He’s continued this form since re-joining Hendon and has netted a number of times already.

Have we met before?
The early season clash between the two sides saw The Magpies come out 3-1 winners. After a Hendon goal in the first half, a Jack Hoey hat trick saw The Magpies claim their only away win of the season so far.

Form guide
Hendon have been in scintillating form in recent weeks. They have won their last five league games, against Weston-Super-Mare, Met Police, Gosport Borough, Wimborne Town and Yate Town. The only blemish on their recent record is 5-1 defeat to Needham Market in the League Challenge Cup.

The Magpies remain winless since October. Last time out saw a 2-0 away defeat to Hartley Wintney last Saturday.

Team news
Tom Blair serves the last game of his suspension whilst Emile Ngoy could make his home debut.
