The Magpies lost the chance to climb out of the league’s bottom three and were even denied a share of the points by a dramatic winner for Harrow Borough deep into a stormy period of time added on.

Dorchester boss Callum Brooks introduced new Plymouth Argyle loan signings Michael Peck and Klaidi Lolos to his starting line-up along with returning Franklyn Clarke.

Dan Strugnell recovered from injury in time to be included while Blair returned to the side after missing the midweek FA Trophy defeat.

Lively Joseph Otudeko had a first minute corner cleared then had a low shot saved by Murphy.

Kearney failed to get a clean head to the ball from an Andrew cross enabling Murphy to gather. Dorchester’s first effort on goal came in the seventh minute but his 25 yard strike was saved by Borough keeper Hafed Al-Droubi.

A Blair free kick was then glanced wide by Tom Bath.

A long clearance upfield from Al-Droubi bounced in to the path of Anthony O’Connor but he could not stop the ball rolling through to Murphy.

The Dorchester glove man was well placed in the 14th minute when a foul by Blair on Andrew conceded a free kick which Otudeko delivered to Shaun Preddie whose glanced header flew into his arms.

Opposite number Al-Droubi also showed sharp positioning sense when he cut out a Blair cross aimed at Bath. Blair picked up the first of his two bookings when he fouled Otudeko but Ashley Wells cleared the free kick.

A low centre from Lewis Cole just eluded Kearney before play swung quickly to the other end where a Lolos shot deflected over and from the Blair delivery, Strugnell’s header was saved.

Sean Wright headed away a driven centre from Moore who then played a one two with Otudeko but fired wide from 25 yards.

Lolos then burst forward, eased past Cole but saw his first shot parried by Al-Droubi and the follow up blocked in front of goal.

Harrow broke the deadlock in the 26th minute when Moore hit a firm low drive into the bottom corner from 25 yards. Bath came so close to instantly restoring parity with a quick shot on the turn from six yards which crashed off the crossbar.

A superb curled ball by Bath picked out the run of Lolos who could only prod the ball out of play. From a Billy Lowes lay off, Blair’s low drive was smothered at the near post by Al-Droubi.

Harrow hit back and Murphy was forced to turn another Moore effort around the post. Shaun Preddie headed wide from the Moore centre.

Blair and Bath had early second half efforts cleared while Murphy denied Kearney at his near post.

Blair fired wide while after a three man move, Wells had a shot deflected wide. Bath forced another corner which was delivered by Blair but cleared only as far as Lowes whose shot was blocked with the follow up drilled wide by Strugnell.

Harrow were forced into a change when Frank Keita was helped off after suffering a leg injury.

On 67 minutes the referee raced to the railway side of the stadium for the first time to summon a steward who was then seen to speak with some members of the crowd.

Play presumed but was interrupted again for the referee to ask stewards to visit the same section of the terracing.

Between the interruptions, Clarke sent a firm drive over for Dorchester from 25 yards. Wells broke up a dangerous Harrow attack and played a calm ball back to his keeper.

Clarke then fouled Moore whose free kick was punched over by Murphy.

Substitute Excellence Muhemba fired just wide for Harrow before Dorchester pulled off the long sought equaliser in the 81st minute when Blair’s cross was met by Wells who stooped to nod home from six yards.

The three points were up for grabs with nine minutes plus stoppage time to play. Blair ‘s shot was pushed over by Al-Droubi.

Immediately after, the referee called over a steward this time to remove an individual from behind the Harrow goal.

Wright and Strugnell both then had headers blocked when play resumed while after a surging run and cross from Lowes, Bath curled a shot just wide.

Murphy saved from Moore and Kearney hooked over as Harrow looked to ease the pressure on their goal. Blair was then shown a second yellow and red card for a robust challenge while Dorchester’s misery was completed when the referee played on beyond the original five added minutes during which Andrew delivered for Kearney to plunder all three points.
