Club deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Magpies stalwart Leslie Phillips MBE

It is with great sadness that Dorchester Town Football Club has learned of the passing of Leslie Phillips MBE.

Les has been a long term supporter of both the football club and the activities of the supporters club. Les watched his first game in 1947 and became chair of the supporters club in 1959. Les offered a great deal of time and energy to raising funds for the football club and we also are aware of his many fundraising activities for other groups in the county Town.

Harold Gill, Secretary of the Supporters Club said “The thoughts of the members of the supporters Club are with Les’ family at this difficult time. We would like to express our thanks for the life of a great servant to the community and a stalwart for the football club.”

Everyone associated with the Football Club offers sincere condolences to the family and friends of Leslie at this extremely difficult time.

RIP Leslie
