Dorchester Town will welcome the Officials, Payers and Supporters of Exeter City Football Club to the Avenue Stadium tomorrow in the first of three friendly fixtures at home (3:00pm)

The Magpies opened their pre-season schedule away at Bradford Town before travelling to Melksham Town, Poole Town and Portland United respectively. However, the Magpies will face a much harder test tomorrow as the Grecians seem likely to be sending their first team squad.

Exeter finished 5th in League Two last season narrowly losing out in the Play-Off Final for promotion to League One, so the game will prove a real challenge for Craig Laird’s men.

Speaking earlier Craig said; ” game time for his men in pre-season carries greater significance than the result. It’s about blowing away the cobwebs and getting the players match fit, ready for the season ahead”.

Admission to the game is free for Dorchester Town season ticket holders and Under 16’s while prices are £8 for adults and £5 for concessions.

The club takes part in a Community Credits Scheme run by the Dorset Volunteer Centre and that match day admission will be two community credit notes per person.

The club and team would really appreciate your support so come on down and cheer the lads on.
