Nathan Walker given the all-clear following injury scare

Dorchester Town Football Club are delighted to announce that fans favourite Nathan Walker has been given the all clear following a worrying neck injury scare against Hayes & Yeading United Yesterday afternoon.

Nathan sustained severe whiplash after a second-half collision with keeper Shane Murphy and Hayes & Yeading’s Yannis Ambriosine which left him requiring urgent treatment on the pitch.

Play was delayed for over 70 minutes while club Physio Emma Tonkin, Neil Mackie and Hayes & Yeading’s Physio team gave treatment before Nathan was taken away in an ambulance to Wexham Hospital.

An x-ray and CT Scan thankfully showed that everything was clear and there was no serious damage to Nathans neck.

We all at Dorchester Town Football Club like to sincerely thank Club Physio Emma Tonkin, Neil Mackie and the Hayes & Yeading Physio Team for their sterling work ensuring Nathan was well looked after.

Respect must also be given to the Hayes and Yeading Supporters who sang him name and clapped him whilst he was being stretchered off.
