Mark Jermyn frustrated by defeat to Seagulls

Dorchester Town 0 Brighton & Hove Albion U21 7

Dorchester manager Mark Jermyn was left feeling frustrated after his side’s  7-0 defeat at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion Under-21s at the Avenue Stadium last night.

“It was a frustrating evening, we did fall apart in the second half. But, we gave a really good account of ourselves in the first half. They were a physically fit side and it shows that they train everyday. It will be different in the league season and it is pre-season so we can’t read too much into the score line.” Manager Mark Jermyn speaking to Josh Donaldson Dorset Echo Sport following last night’s defeat.

Jermyn now wants to look forward and keep progressing with the squad at his disposal.

He was given a lift before the game as Owen Nicolson and Ben Walker both signed after impressing in pre-season.
