Mackie named as new reserve team boss

Dorchester Town Football Club announce changes to their coaching set-up at reserve and under-18 levels.

Neil Mackie, who was manager of the under-18s last season has been promoted to the role of reserve-team manager replacing Dave Kiteley who has decided to step down.

Neil will work as co-manager along with Jay Keating, someone who has strong links with Bournemouth and Poole.

They are joined by UEFA B Licence coach and former Magpies’ player Steve Gilbert, who worked with Phil Simkin at Hamworthy United.

The under-18s will also have joint managers in the shape of Martin Pashen and Rex Buttle and will feature in the DCFA under-21s Floodlit League next season.

Coming in as coach to the under-18s is Rich Robson, who is currently working towards his UEFA B Licence and has been involved with the club for a while.

The club would like to sincerely thank out-going reserve team manager Dave Kiteley for all his hard work and efforts, Dave will be a very hard act to follow.
