Dorchester Town Football Club’s Community Department are delighted to once again receive much needed grant aid from the Football Conference Trust for 2014/15 and 2015/16 to help continue and improve our community initiatives in the local area. This gives the Club a major impetus in engaging with local schools, supporting staff within the curriculum, coaching football skills and promoting Dorchester Town FC as a community club.
The Football Conference Trust’s grant aid programme is made possible by the generous support of the Trust’s funding partners: the Premier League and the Professional Football Association. In October 2010 both bodies committed to contribute £400,000 each a year for three years to the Trust – giving a total fund of £2.4m.
Dorchester Town FC officials are delighted to see their community work recognised and delighted to receive a successful grant bid. They would like to place on record their thanks to the Premier League, PFA and of course The Football Conference Trust.
If any more local schools wish to become part of the Dorchester Town Football Club Community Scheme, please contact The Community Department at the club on 01305 262451 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
