Dorchester Town Football Club have signed striker Oliver Mehew on a months loan from Forest Green Rovers.
The 19-year-old son of former Bristol Rovers player and Gloucester City manager, David Mehew, is expected to go straight into the squad tomorrow against Leamington. (3pm).
The former Blackburn Rovers scholar has previously trained with Bristol Rovers before signing his first professional contract with Forest Green at the start of the season.
Also, former Terras’ midfielder Luke Winsper has signed on dual-registration forms from Blackfield & Langley as cover for the Magpies.
Winsper left the Terras in May of last year in search of regular first-team football, having been forced to play a bit-part role following a metatarsal injury sustained at Bashley in 2014.
He has been a regular at Blackfield and Langley ever since.
Meanwhile, Chris Dillon is expected to be out for the rest of the season. Chris has been waiting for an operation on a nagging groin Injury that has plagued him over the past few months.
Speaking about the situation, manager Craig Laird said: “We have lost Chris Dillon. He is going to have an operation on his groin and is not going to be available for the rest of the season.
“He had been playing with this for a long time, even before I joined the club and I think these pitches haven’t helped, they have aggravated it even more.
“We have agreed that he will go and get himself sorted and hopefully be available for next year. We wish him all the best and hopefully it’s a successful operation.”
Another new signing will be announced early next week.
